Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website. It was built to the Israeli standard 5568, at level AA of the WCAG guidelines.
What we did
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a clear mark of where you are.
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Colour contrast to the standard, and text that can grow to 200% without losing content.
- Alternative text for images, and headings in a logical order.
- Clips have no sound. Under each clip it says what you see.
- If you asked your phone or computer for less motion, the site shows none.
- The site is in Hebrew and English, and each language is marked so a screen reader reads it correctly.
The accessibility menu
At the top of every page there is an “Accessibility” button. It opens a menu with:
- Bigger text: enlarges all text on the site.
- High contrast: a white background and dark frames.
- Underline links: every link gets a line under it.
- Stop motion: stops every clip and animation on the site.
- Reset: returns everything to the default.
The menu works with a keyboard too, and Escape closes it. Your choice stays only in your browser. The menu only changes how the site looks; the site itself is built to be accessible without it.
How we checked
The site was checked with the axe testing tool, at computer and phone widths, and by going through every page with a keyboard alone, in Chrome.
Not checked yet
The site has not yet been checked by a person with a disability using a screen reader. This statement covers the website only, not the iPhone game. We will keep improving both.
