Who we are
Bumiko is run by Dan, the business owner, as a pilot in one store in Israel. The full business details will be added here before sales begin. Using the game or the website means agreeing to these terms. Children play with a parent’s consent.
The game
Bumiko is for personal and family use. The game is in a pilot, so it may have faults, changes and breaks. We make a reasonable effort to keep creatures and progress safe, and to let you restore them on a new phone with the family code.
Codes
- Every code works once, and wakes the creature from the capsule for one child.
- Whoever uses the code first gets the creature. Keep the note and don’t send a photo of it.
- A used code never reopens, even after the family is deleted.
- Codes and creatures cannot be exchanged for money.
- A code that fails because of a fault on our side: write to support@bumiko.io and we will sort it out.
The toy
The printed creature stays yours, with or without the game. It is 3D printed in the store.
- Warning: small parts. Choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3.
- Do not put it in the mouth. Play with an adult nearby.
- Keep it away from heat and fire. If the creature cracks or breaks, stop using it.
Liability
The game and the website are provided as they are, during a pilot. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect damage from using the game or from a fault in it. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Israel’s Consumer Protection Law or any other law.
Fair use
Do not guess codes, try to break into the game or the server, or copy and sell the creatures, the art or the game. The art, the characters, the name Bumiko and the game belong to us. Pictures from the press page may be used in articles about Bumiko.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update the date at the top. A significant change will also appear in the game.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by Israeli law, and the courts of Israel have jurisdiction.
